The support of our Protector Circle community enabled us to help Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN) rescue 31 macaque monkeys. These monkeys have been cruelly abused since they were infants and forced to perform for tourists. They are now recovering in a JAAN rehabilitation centre. Until a ban on the use of monkeys for entertainment is implemented, they are at risk of being exploited. Together, we can ensure this is the last generation of dancing monkeys.

They also enabled us to deepen our collaboration with the government and our partners to advance plant-based solutions that address the impacts of industrial animal agriculture on animals, the environment, and public health. With their partnership, we co-hosted a webinar with the Farm Animal Investment Risk and Return Initiative (FAIRR) for companies and Finance Institutions on the risks of antimicrobial resistance linked to industrial farming.
